The word core literally means; a central or foundational part of something. It also means; that which is a basic or essential part of something. The word values has a simple definition that means; beliefs and standards.
So, taking into account both of these words and their definitions; “THE HOUSE” Church has a few basic beliefs and a very specific standard which it operates by; causing it to be distinct in its purpose and assignment within the Virginia Beach, Virginia area and abroad. Here’s what we value:
We value the Teaching of the Word of God with Simplicity, Practicality and Understanding (II Corinthians 11:3; Proverbs 4:7). We value The Word and Lifestyle of Faith understanding that faith both pleases God and gives us the ability to receive all of His promises (Romans 10:6-8, 17; Hebrews 11:1, 6; 6:12). We value the importance of making the right Confession over our lives, families, cities, communities and church (Matthew 13:17; Proverbs 6:2; Proverbs 18:21). We value and pursue living the Victorious and Overcoming Life in Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:57; II Corinthians 2:14). We value walking in total life Prosperity (III John 2). We value walking in the Righteousness of God (Romans 1:17; 10:3). We value being a church that operates with a Spirit of Excellence in all of our endeavors to expand the Kingdom of God which reveals “THE HOUSE” Church as a church with a name of excellence, and a ministry of excellence that does things in a more excellent way (Daniel 6:3; I Corinthians 14:40; Hebrews 1:4; 8:6; I Corinthians 12:31). We value revealing the Love of God through our lives to all that we may come into contact with (John 3:15; I John 4:7-8). We value a Genuine Relationship with Jesus Christ over being merely religious. We value Order realizing that organization allows the Spirit of the Lord to have liberty while exposing the work of the adversary (I Corinthians 14:33, 40; II Corinthians 3:17). We value Prayer knowing that God does everything by prayer and absolutely nothing without it (*Matthew 21:13; Luke 11:1-4; 18:1). We value our Man and Woman of God understanding that they are our ministry gifts that bring us our faith by teaching the word of God and that our prosperity is directly connected to them (II Chronicles 20:20; Jeremiah 3:15; Ephesians 4:11-12).
