Apostle Dr. Johnny L. Magee, Jr.

Dr. Johnny L. Magee Jr. is the founder and Senior Pastor of “THE HOUSE” Church, a non-denominational church located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. A former soldier in the United States Army, Dr. Magee received his call into the ministry in the year of 1986 while stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. In January of 1988, he renlisted and was reassigned by the military to Ft. Hood, Texas. During his tour of duty, he and his family joined and served faithfully at the Cathedral of Central Texas/Christians House of Prayer under the dynamic leadership of Bishop Nathaniel and Pastor Valerie Holcomb.

In 1992, with the consent and encouragement from Bishop Holcomb, Dr. Magee stepped out in faith on the evangelistic field full-time for nearly three and a half years. Towards the end of 1994 as his traveling ministry was gaining notoriety, he was approached by Bishop Holcomb with the opportunity to pastor a church in Europe. He and his family departed for Germany in 1995 and led the ministry there faithfully for eight years.

In 2003 being instructed by the Holy Spirit, the Magee’s relocated to the Hampton Roads/Tidewater area in Virginia to establish a new church to further expand the kingdom of God. After holding bible studies in his home for nearly a year, “THE HOUSE” Church was born.

Possessing a unique anointing and ability to rightly divide the word of truth and the use of humor; Dr. Magee has been blessed to be a quest speaker at many church events. He received both his Bachelor in Bible Studies and an Honorary Doctorates degree in Letters (General Ministry) from Triune Biblical University in Kelso, Washington. He is also a graduate of Sonship School of the Firstborn in Killeen, Texas. Dr. Magee values personal growth and development in ministry and continues to pursue his ministerial education.

He and his wife Lilliette reside in Chesapeake, Virginia. They have a daughter, son, daughter in love and four grandchildren they call their "Grand-Candies".

First Lady Lilliette "Lady L" Magee

Lilliette C. Magee is the wife of Dr. Johnny L. Magee, Jr.  As the First Lady of “THE HOUSE” Church, she serves as the Chief Executive Administrator.  Known for her elegance, grace and possessing a meek and quiet spirit, Lilliette is also the founder of “God’s Gracious Girls” women’s fellowship.  Along with Dr. Magee, she is under the leadership of Bishop Nathaniel and Pastor Valerie Holcomb – The Cathedral of Central Texas/Christian House of Prayer in Killeen, Texas.  She has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Triune Biblical University in Kelso, Washington.  She resides in Chesapeake, VA with her husband and they have a daughter, son, daughter in love and four grandchildren they call their "Grand-Candies"
